- How do I calculate a percentage of a number?
- Divide the percentage by 100 and multiply it by the number. For example, 18% of 750 is (18 ÷ 100) × 750 = 135.
- How is percentage increase calculated?
- Subtract the original value from the new value, divide by the original value, then multiply by 100. A move from 100 to 125 is a 25% increase.
- Can this calculator handle percentage decreases?
