Discount Calculator

Work out the sale price and savings after a percentage discount.

You save

20.00

Final price

60.00

How it works

The discount amount is the original price multiplied by the discount percentage divided by 100. Subtracting that from the original price gives the final price, and both figures are shown so you can see what you save as well as what you pay.

Example

80 × 25 ÷ 100 = 20 saved → 80 − 20 = 60 final price

For a stacked offer, run the result through a second time: two 20% discounts applied one after the other take 36% off in total, not 40%, because the second one applies to the already-reduced price.

Frequently asked questions

How is a discount calculated?
Multiply the original price by the discount percentage to get the amount saved, then subtract that from the original price for the final price.
Can I use this for stacked discounts?
Enter the first discount, take the final price shown, then run it through the calculator again with the second discount percentage applied to that new price.
